January 2016 – Great news! You can now send email remittances to suppliers directly from the Bank Payment System. The solution is based on MS Reporting Services and it’s very flexible and easy to implement. Your suppliers will be informed in detail about what’s been included in the payments you’ve sent them. This is especially convenient if you’re using the payment summary option.

January 2016 – There was a time, many years ago, when the future of SunSystems was uncertain, though everything looked wonderfully rosy at the time. Systems Union, the British company who developed the product, was still in friendly private hands, and sales were booming. SunSystems was the best (as it still is) international financial software system on the planet. Those of us whose lives depended on the product were prospering. Actually, Systems Union’s P&L looked good. The problem, the company’s balance sheet, was probably one of inattention. The sails were billowing, the sun was shining. They just didn’t notice the rocks beneath the surface.
December 2015 – LLP Group resells and implements Infor’s SunSystems, an international financial and accounting system used by international and local companies all over the world. We’re glad to announce a new dedicated microsite – www.llpsunsystems.com. LLP Group has implemented SunSystems for companies such as Shell, Air BP, HBO, GSK, Roche, Corinthia Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Regus, Johnson & Johnson and many others. Take a look and let us know what you think.
November 2015 – The new version of Infor Q&A – the Evolve release – is not only an excellent ad-hoc query and analysis tool, but it has been extended to deliver enhanced business intelligence capability. One of the main reasons for a new Q&A release was to achieve compatibility with 64-bit Microsoft Office applications. The product is also delivered as fully Unicode compliant, enabling support for multiple languages from a single instance. One important feature for all customers is the migration utility for conversion of existing Infor Q&A Excel reports into Infor Q&A Evolve reports. Both releases, Infor Q&A 10 and Evolve, can be installed concurrently for a limited period (12 months) to allow migration between the products.
October 2015 – I’ve implemented SunSystems dozens of time. In Europe, in North America, in South America and in the Middle East. Not yet in Far East Asia, or Africa, but there’s still time if I hurry. LLP Group is based in Central Europe and so most of my implementations have been in the post-Communist states of the former Soviet bloc. These were not then, and are not now, the easiest places in the world, but they are by no means amongst the worst (except perhaps Russia).
