LLP North America Announces Certification as a Woman-Owned Enterprise (WBE)
LLP North America Inc., a woman-owned business, is proud to announce their recent certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) awarded by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). The certification is awarded to companies that are more than 51 percent owned, controlled, operated, and managed by a woman or women. WBENC is the nation’s leading third-party organization that certifies women-owned businesses on behalf of U.S. corporations and through city, county, and state programs.
“We’re very proud to have received this certification,” said Barbara Dreska, President of LLP North America and Chairwoman and CEO of LLP Group. “LLP North America has been a woman led business since its formation in 2013, and we are committed to having a workplace that is diverse, inclusive and socially responsible. It is exciting to now have the official WBE certification behind our name. It is unfortunate that even in today’s world women-owned businesses still face real challenges as well business and social biases. Being recognized as a WBE we hope will help us grow in new ways allowing us to forge a smoother path for future women-owned businesses.”
