Services

LLP provides software, consulting and technical support to meet the needs of companies in Western, Central and Eastern Europe, and beyond.

Pre-implementation Consulting

LLP is a reseller of several ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and PSA (Professional Services Automation) software systems, and our experience has taught us the strengths and weaknesses of each. Pre-implementation consulting can help you to make the right choice. Once software has been chosen, a pre-implementation study - documenting risk, data transition possibilities, business requirements, priorities, skill and knowledge availability - can help you both plan correctly, and reduce and control the overall risk and cost of an implementation project.

Project Management

We offer project management as part of all our software implementation projects. However, we are also able to offer project management as a separate service. We have adapted a standard method for mid-market implementations, avoiding the undue bureaucracy (and expense) of high-end ‘methodologies’, in favour of a controlled but pragmatic style. We ensure that the essential principles of budgeting, timescale planning and business objectives are always considered and controlled. We encourage our staff to study for PMP certification.

Help Desk Hotline Support

LLP’s Help Desk Hotline is available to all customers with valid support contracts. The Help Desk Hotline is manned between 09:00 and 17:00 (local time) at each LLP office, except on public holidays. You may also contact support via email (see the Support page on this website for details). A Help Desk Portal now exists for some clients in some countries and we hope to extend this to all our customers in due course. Through this portal, customers can log their issues and requests and monitor the progress of each issue. For this service, you would need to obtain login credentials.

Training

LLP’s product-oriented training courses are designed for end-users, system implementation teams and specialists, such as financial controllers, logistics managers, manufacturing planners, etc. We also provide tailored training as requested. Training is delivered in our dedicated training rooms, at external education centres, or through the internet.

On-site Consulting

Many of our consultants know all aspects of a product, but in some cases - and especially when third-party products are integrated with basic ERP (e.g. INFOR FMS SunSystems, or MS Dynamics NAV, or MS Dynamics AX) - we deploy specialists in particular fields (for example, retail, textiles, meat, services, distribution). Where possible, we seek to pass on our skills to our customers’ staff through a ‘train-the-trainer’ approach.

Implementation and Post-implementation Services

The bulk of LLP’s consulting services comprise implementation consulting, with trained, dedicated consultants working with clients to implement software products to a project plan. Our services cover all stages of the project lifecycle:

  • Project definition - including scoping, risk assessment, cost evaluation
  • Installations and infrastructure setup
  • System requirements analysis and specification
  • Delivery of the solution, based on its specification
  • User acceptance testing control and evaluation
  • End user training and live operation support
  • Project and system documentation, as defined by methodology and client requirements
  • Project control procedures
  • Follow up post-implementation review and support

Technical Support

In addition to business and product-oriented consulting, LLP offers infrastructural support or technical consulting, to ensure optimization of applications. These services include:

  • System installations
  • Software error resolutions
  • Technical audit for hardware and software infrastructure
  • Analysis of system performance issues for products delivered by LLP

Development of Regional Specific Software Enhancements

LLP resells standard software solutions, but these must often be adapted to meet specific statutory requirements in each country or region, either through configuration (involving no software modifications but imposing some constraints on design) or through software enhancement. We have developed standard solutions, which not only work for each country or region, but which can be incorporated into standard ‘core’ solutions for multiple implementations (see the ‘International’ page on this website).

Product Localisation

Localisation means translation and adaptation of software systems to meet local statutory requirements or conventions. We ourselves have localised INFOR’s FMS SunSystems product throughout the region, as well as MS Dynamics products, where these are not available as standard. With product upgrades, we always update our localised versions and make them available to our customers as soon as possible.

Availability of Localised Software versions:

INFOR FMS SunSystems:

Software Customisation

Specific customer requirements are achieved through the customisation of standard product core functionality. Standard system functionalities are tailored to meet specific customer or business requirements and thus provide the end user with the most effective solutions to their business processes. LLP employs over 80 application specialists who are experienced in providing customised solutions to customers from different business verticals.

System Design and Development

Most customer requirements can be met closely enough through parameterisation and configuration of standard products (especially INFOR FMS SunSystems and the MS Dynamics products). In some cases however, customer specific requirements cannot sufficiently be met through standard products, or through their integration with vertical-specific solutions. In addition, LLP designs and builds customer-specific or vertical-specific solutions, using its own teams of development specialists.

System Audit

Many systems run smoothly and effectively without intervention for many years. This is ideal. However, for some companies, underlying assumptions are always changing. For example, technology may bring new opportunities, the business may grow and processes may change. The surrounding business environment may bring new challenges, or statutory requirements may change. Additionally, know-how on how to maximise the return on investment of existing systems may be lost through natural staff attrition. System audits, designed to measure the impact of all these kinds of change, are often useful in preserving or unlocking additional potential.

LLP provides a range of system audit services, focusing on technology, business process and even security issues, and delivering an assessment of compliance, where appropriate, and practical recommendations for best practice and system enhancement
