Slovakia adopts the Euro

Bratislava, 1. January 2009 - On January 1st, 2009, Slovakia adopted the Euro. For every company in the country this means conversion of systems and data to the new currency. For LLP Slovakia this meant the design and provision of a Euro conversion ‘package’ to all its ERP customers. Similar conversion solutions had already been provided by LLP Group in Austria, Bulgaria (redenomination), Romania (redenomination), Slovenia and Malta. Building on a tried and tested method, LLP Slovakia began preparations 6 months in advance, following publication of the detailed statutory regulations governing conversion, and including extensive conversion simulations and end-user testing. Final transition is scheduled for completion by the end of January 2009, with each client’s Euro-ready system prepared carefully in advance.
